Coronavirus Update


Influenza (the flu) is an infection of the cells that line the lungs and airways (the respiratory system) causing infections of the respiratory tract, nose, nasal passages, throat and lungs. This virus spreads from person to person through droplets produced by coughing or sneezing. The flu can also be a cause of death in infants and people who are older or who have long-term health problems.  There are 3 types of influenza virus: Influenza A, B and C.
